Cologne Cathedral Now Charges €12 Admission to Cover Rising Costs

Cologne Cathedral began charging a €12 admission fee on Wednesday to cover its rising maintenance costs. The Gothic landmark, one of Germany's most visited sites, has introduced the fee after years of free entry. Children under 13 and visitors wishing to pray are exempt from the charge.
