Hubble captures one of the Milky Way's oldest star clusters for the US 250th anniversary
NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has photographed one of the Milky Way's oldest star clusters to mark the United States' 250th anniversary, producing a red, white and blue image. Hidden within the ancient cluster are clues about how supernova explosions transformed the early universe, eventually enabling the formation of planets and life.
