TK judge-elect Patyra waits nearly a month for president's oath invitation
Sławomir Patyra, elected to Poland's Constitutional Tribunal, has been unable to take his oath for nearly a month because the president has not yet invited him to do so. The head of the Presidential Chancellery stated the oath will take place once the president extends an invitation. The matter has sparked political debate, with Zbigniew Bogucki citing a legal opinion by Patyra that he claimed was dismissed by the Supreme Court.
