Chinese underground church founder Jin Mingri freed after Trump's plea to Xi

Jin Mingri, founder of Beijing's Zion Church and a prominent figure in China's underground Christian community, has been released from prison. His release followed a direct personal plea made by Donald Trump to Chinese President Xi Jinping. Jin had been one of the most high-profile figures of China's unofficial Protestant church movement.
