Tomi Adeyemi distances herself from 'Children of Blood and Bone' film adaptation

Tomi Adeyemi, author of the 2018 YA novel "Children of Blood and Bone", has announced she "will not watch" the film adaptation and is "officially separating her name" from the project. The feature, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and starring Amandla Stenberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Viola Davis, is set for a Paramount theatrical release early next year.
