Hourly Trains and Fixed Departures: Poland Plans Rail Timetable Revolution
Poland's CPK and the Ministry of Infrastructure have unveiled plans for a "Horizontal Timetable" that would introduce fixed departure times and increase train frequency to every one or two hours on key routes. The concept mirrors the Swiss rail model, where regular intervals make timetable-checking unnecessary. Implementation details and timelines have not yet been announced.
