'Children of Blood & Bone' author Tomi Adeyemi won't watch the film adaptation

Tomi Adeyemi, author of the 2018 YA novel "Children of Blood & Bone," has said she will not watch the upcoming Paramount film adaptation directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, premiering January 15. Adeyemi told fans that the adaptation process has been painful, which is why she has not spoken publicly about it. She has distanced herself from the project entirely.
