NHS to use AI in its app to triage patients and direct them to right services

England's NHS has announced it will integrate an AI tool into its app to triage patients and direct them to appropriate services, such as GPs, pharmacies or A&E, depending on the severity of their condition. The rollout is expected to reach around 200,000 patients over the next year. The measure is part of a £10 billion package to overhaul NHS systems.
