Swiatek and Rybakina Knocked Out of Wimbledon – Sabalenka Now Favourite

Wimbledon suffered major upsets as defending champion Iga Swiatek and seed Elena Rybakina both exited the tournament. Rybakina lost in straight sets to Elise Mertens in the third round, becoming the highest seed to fall so far. With both out, Aryna Sabalenka is now considered the leading favourite for the title.
