Eala shocks Swiatek to become first Filipino player in Grand Slam last 16

Alexandra Eala of the Philippines shocked defending champion Iga Swiatek to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time in her country's history in the Open era. After the victory she dedicated her win to "all the girls with ruffled socks and chubby cheeks."
