Armenia's underground drag scene defies violence threats and family rejection

In Armenia, the drag scene remains underground, unlike in much of the EU where it is mainstream. Performers face threats of violence, stigma, police pressure and rejection by their own families. Despite this, they have built a vibrant community attracting both local Armenians and international crowds, challenging the country's ultraconservative norms amid a shifting political landscape.
