Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes took pole position at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc second and Lewis Hamilton third. Hamilton expressed satisfaction with his result despite missing the front row. Red Bull's Max Verstappen qualified a disappointing seventh.
