Eala beats Świątek at Wimbledon, praises the Polish star after the match

Alexandra Eala of the Philippines defeated Iga Świątek 7:6 (9), 6:2 in the third round of Wimbledon 2026, ending the Polish player's title defence. Świątek will not retain the title she won on the London grass courts last year. After the match, Eala spoke emotionally about her victory and offered warm words about her opponent.
