China bans private light aircraft nationwide after small plane hits Beijing's Citic Tower
China has imposed a nationwide, open-ended ban on private light fixed-wing aircraft, the Financial Times reported. The measure follows an incident in which a small plane struck the Citic Tower, Beijing's tallest skyscraper, located near President Xi Jinping's residence. The ban covers the entire country with no set expiry date.
