Clashes outside AfD congress in Erfurt leave journalists injured

Thousands of protesters gathered in Erfurt to oppose the AfD party congress, blocking roads and gluing themselves to tram tracks. Clashes broke out with police, who deployed gas after demonstrators threw pyrotechnics at them. Several journalists were injured in the unrest.
