Slovaks vote in referendum on politician perks and anti-corruption office closures

Slovakia held a referendum from 7 a.m. on Saturday on two decisions made by Prime Minister Robert Fico's government: the introduction of lifetime pensions and special benefits for senior politicians, and the abolition of two anti-corruption agencies. A successful vote could reverse both controversial moves.
