Costner's flopped "Horizon" western heads to streaming for a second chance
Taylor Sheridan revealed that Kevin Costner's exit from Yellowstone was largely planned — his character was originally conceived for three seasons before passing the baton, but the studio kept him longer. Costner then pursued his own passion project, the western "Horizon," which flopped at the box office and is now turning to streaming for a second chance. Sheridan denied reports of a major falling-out between them.
