Heat wave eases in Poland – thunderstorm warnings issued for north-east

After several days of a heat wave, temperatures in Poland are set to drop to a maximum of 23°C over the weekend and into early next week. Poland's Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued level-one thunderstorm warnings for the north-eastern part of the country. The cooling will bring temporary relief after record-breaking heat.
