Trump at Mount Rushmore: American exceptionalism speech with dark communist warning

President Donald Trump marked the 250th anniversary of American independence with a speech at Mount Rushmore, celebrating American exceptionalism before pivoting to dark warnings about communism. Historian Ian Reifowitz of SUNY-Empire State University said Trump's "one goal" is to make himself more popular and powerful, using the celebration for political purposes.
