Hunt Breaks Mirosław's World Record; Polish Champion Exits with False Start

Polish Olympic champion Aleksandra Mirosław is retiring after this season, and her farewell World Cup appearance in Kraków ended painfully – Emma Hunt broke her world record, and Mirosław herself was disqualified in the final for a false start. She had qualified second among 62 athletes in Saturday's earlier round. It was her last competitive event in front of a home crowd.
