Shorter stride length in dogs may signal cognitive decline

New research suggests that a shortening of a dog's stride length may be an early indicator of cognitive decline in the animal. Monitoring a dog's gait could therefore serve as a non-invasive tool for the early detection of neurological problems in dogs.
