Kraków shuts Zakrzówek grill zone after reports of protected snake being barbecued

Kraków authorities have permanently closed the designated grill zone at Zakrzówek following repeated rule violations, littering and reports of damage to protected flora and fauna. The final straw was information that a smooth snake — a protected species — had allegedly been barbecued on site. The closure is permanent.
