Tusk: Bełchatów and Konin are equal candidates for Poland's second nuclear plant

Prime Minister Donald Tusk, speaking at a photovoltaic farm in Kleczew on Saturday, said that Konin and Bełchatów are comparable sites for Poland's second nuclear power plant. He stressed that renewable energy is often the cheapest option and that the shift away from coal goes beyond climate protection. Poland is accelerating its energy transition by combining renewable expansion with nuclear ambitions.
