Polish solar subsidies in 2026: panels alone no longer qualify for grants

From 2026, Polish solar panel subsidies are being overhauled — installing rooftop panels alone will no longer be enough to qualify for public funding. The change is driven by overload on the national power grid. New grant conditions are expected to require applicants to pair panels with energy storage or a heat pump.
