Mayor of Szczuczyn Attended Events and Collected Award While on Sick Leave

Marcin Wileński, mayor of Szczuczyn in Podlaskie, is the defendant in an ongoing court case; two of three hearings were cancelled partly due to his medical sick leave. During the same leave, he was seen at public events and travelled to Katowice to collect an award on behalf of the municipality. He has since admitted the trip was a mistake.
