19-year-old Paul Seixas makes Tour de France debut with overall victory in his sights
Paul Seixas, 19, is the youngest Tour de France debutant since 1937 and is setting his sights on the overall classification rather than stage wins. The Barcelona-born rider said he "won't take risks for anything other than the general classification," putting him on a collision course with four-time champion Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard. Excitement around him in Barcelona ahead of the race start was described as running very high.
