J.D. Vance earned $7.4m — most of it from "Hillbilly Elegy"

US Vice President J.D. Vance disclosed income of up to $7.4 million in his financial disclosure statement. The vast majority of that sum came from royalties on his memoir "Hillbilly Elegy". The figure makes him one of the wealthiest sitting vice presidents in American history.
