Rooftoppers Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus get engaged atop Empire State Building
Rooftoppers Angela Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Beerkus, 32, climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York without any safety equipment, where Beerkus proposed to Nikolau at over 440 metres above ground. The pair unfurled a banner reading "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace." After descending, both were arrested by police.
