Half of Poles earn below PLN 5,400 net — GUS releases median wage data

GUS data shows that half of Polish workers earn less than PLN 5,400 net per month. While Polish inflation has hit the National Bank's target, an upcoming July VAT change on fuel threatens to push prices up again. Industrial output has unexpectedly slowed, and the number of personal bankruptcies declared by Poles has hit a record high.
