Egyptian Resort El Gouna Now Requires QR Code Entry from Hurghada

The popular Egyptian resort of El Gouna has tightened its entry rules, requiring all day-trippers arriving from nearby Hurghada to present a special QR code at checkpoints. Visitors without the code will be turned away at the gates. The new measures apply to all external visitors trying to enter the resort town.
