Killer of Polish student Henry Nowak files appeal against conviction in UK

Vickrum Digwa, convicted of murdering 18-year-old Polish-heritage student Henry Nowak in Southampton on 3 December 2025, has filed an application with the Court of Appeal of England and Wales to challenge his sentence. The court confirmed on Friday that it had received the application. After the attack, Digwa lied to police, claiming he himself had been assaulted.
