Polish hurdler Pia Skrzyszowska clocked 12.44 seconds in Nancy, her fourth-best career time and a new meeting record. She smashed the 12-year-old mark previously held by former European silver medallist Cindy Billaud. Five days earlier in Paris she had broken the 12.50s barrier for the first time this season.
