Polish hotel booking data leaked after cyberattack — fraudsters already active

Hotres, a software provider for the Polish hospitality industry, confirmed a cyberattack that resulted in a leak of holiday reservation data from Polish accommodation facilities. Security website Niebezpiecznik.pl warns that the stolen data is already being exploited by fraudsters. Guests who booked through hotels using the Hotres system are advised to check their accounts and be vigilant for scam attempts.
