Polish Climate Ministry blocks mass tree felling along Warmia-Masuria roads

Poland's Ministry of Climate and Environment has rejected the first two applications to fell roadside trees in the Warmia and Masuria region. The ministry ruled that tree removal is only permissible where no alternative exists, arguing that driver safety and the protection of roadside avenues are not mutually exclusive.
