Warsaw hospital gave IVF patient another couple's embryo by mistake

Warsaw's Szpital Południowy (South Hospital) reportedly implanted a patient with an embryo belonging to another couple during an IVF procedure, according to industry outlet Rynek Zdrowia. The Ministry of Health has already launched an inquiry into the incident. The mix-up is considered one of the most serious errors possible in fertility treatment.
