Two Warsaw deputy mayors resign over Southern Hospital scandal
Warsaw deputy mayors Renata Kaznowska and Aldona Machnowska-Góra resigned on Friday in the wake of the Southern Hospital scandal, with Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski accepting both resignations. PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński sharply criticised the move, saying "the wrong people are being punished" and implying Trzaskowski himself bore responsibility.
