'Minions & Monsters' earns $62.6M worldwide in first two days

Illumination/Universal's animated film Minions & Monsters has grossed $62.6 million worldwide after just two days of release in the US and additional territories. It opened Wednesday in the US and Canada with $14.23 million (excluding previews), followed by $10.8 million on Thursday. The film earned an A- CinemaScore rating from audiences.
