Famur to cut 309 jobs in Nowy Sącz and Gorlice, factory to close

The Grenevia–Famur Group has announced large-scale redundancies at two plants in the Małopolska region. All 120 workers at the Nowy Sącz factory will be laid off and production there shut down entirely, while 189 of roughly 400 employees in Gorlice will lose their jobs. The cuts are expected to cause a sharp rise in local unemployment.
