Upbit clarifies it only expressed interest in OUSD ecosystem, not formal participation

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit clarified that it only expressed interest in potentially joining the OpenStandard (OUSD) ecosystem in the future, stopping short of any formal commitment. Several other South Korean firms also distanced themselves from the OUSD initiative at the same time. Upbit stressed that no binding agreement has been made.
