Poland accelerates rearmament amid warnings of possible Russian provocation

Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said Poland is taking very seriously US commanders' warnings of a possible large-scale Russian provocation within the next dozen or so months. The government's response is the SAFE programme – the largest military modernisation and rearmament project in Polish history. Poland is spending 6% of GDP on defence.
