Ryanair: French air traffic control to cost airlines €1.7bn a year by 2035

Ryanair has called on France to urgently reform its air traffic control system, describing it as outdated and catastrophically managed. The airline warns that without immediate action, French ATC failures will cost European carriers €1.7 billion per year by 2035. Ryanair says the system cannot handle forecast growth in air traffic.
