UN sounds red alert over imminent RSF assault on Sudan's el-Obeid

UN human rights chief Volker Türk has issued a "red alert" over growing fears of an imminent assault by Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the city of el-Obeid. Türk warned of a looming human rights catastrophe in the region. El-Obeid is a key city in Sudan's North Kordofan state.
