Head of Polish Medical Council: Doctors Die Years Earlier Than Average
Łukasz Jankowski, President of the Supreme Medical Council (NIL), told TVN24 that doctors in Poland live several years less than the national average. He called for decent pay on a single contract and depoliticisation of the healthcare system, stressing that doctors' interests align with those of patients. Jankowski also highlighted pay disparities and the lack of dialogue with decision-makers.
