Ukraine opens criminal case against Russia's Gen. Gerasimov over strikes on civilians
Ukraine has formally opened a criminal case against General Valery Gerasimov, chief of the Russian General Staff. Kyiv accuses him of personally ordering the planning and execution of air strikes targeting Ukrainian civilians. According to Ukrainian authorities, troops under Gerasimov's command plan, prepare and carry out aerial attacks on Ukraine on his direct orders.
