Ukraine considers Volhynia gesture toward Poland ahead of July 11 anniversary
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha met Polish Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski in Warsaw on Friday amid the most serious historical dispute between the two countries since the start of the war. According to Wirtualna Polska, Kyiv is considering a conciliatory gesture before July 11 — the date commemorating Polish victims of the Volhynia massacre — to ease tensions with Warsaw. The dispute centres on Ukraine's planned National Pantheon and its treatment of the UPA.
