Mount Etna Erupts Again: Lava Fountains Light Up Sicily's Night Sky

Mount Etna in Sicily has been active since late June, producing spectacular lava fountains that illuminate the night sky. A yellow volcanic alert is in effect for the area around the volcano. The eruption is not directly threatening nearby settlements.
