Venice 2026 Classics: Cassavetes, Buñuel, Wajda and Corman in line-up

The Venice Classics 2026 section will feature works by John Cassavetes, Luis Buñuel, Roberto Rossellini and Roger Corman, alongside restored and rarely seen films by Roman Polanski, Ann Hui, Andrzej Wajda and Alexander Kluge. A highlight is Ernst Lubitsch's anti-war satire To Be or Not to Be. The programme focuses on restored prints and seldom-screened masterpieces from world cinema history.
