Doctors Quit on Merger Day at Katowice Children's Cancer Ward
Doctors at the children's oncology ward of the Upper Silesian Centre for Child Health in Katowice resigned the day before the planned merger with a facility in Zabrze. They cited inadequate conditions for treating children with brain tumours. The director of the Zabrze hospital hit back, accusing the doctors of hypocrisy.
