Moldova PM Munteanu Resigns After Eight Months in Office

Alexandru Munteanu unexpectedly resigned as Moldova's Prime Minister after only eight months in office. President Maia Sandu said a successor would be named quickly to maintain the country's pro-EU trajectory. Moldova has been consistently pursuing European Union membership.
