Polish parliament extends asylum ban at Belarus border for another 60 days

Poland's Sejm voted on Friday to extend the temporary suspension of the right to apply for international protection at the border with Belarus. The restriction will take effect on 20 July and last for 60 days. Hundreds of foreigners have already been turned away under the existing rules without having their cases examined.
